Local business leader looking to change the face of local political representation.
Medicine Hat, Alberta, August 11th, 2010 – Milvia Bauman announced today she will be letting her name stand as a nominee for the Medicine Hat riding of the Wild Rose Party. Milvia wants to bring her strong business mind and sense of civic duty to the position of local and provincial representative.
Milvia has always had a strong sense of civic duty, working with the Medicine Hat Chamber of Commerce, chairing the Medicine Hat Safe Community Associations, past President of the Canadian Cancer Society, and former Director on the Medicine Hat Rotary Club just to name a few. Milvia says “understand that expanding society in a positive direction starts with community involvement. Let’s get the local and provincial government working together to achieve this positive change”.
